Amian Artaud produces a notebook that turns out to be very complex both for the variety of the topics and for the representation process which ranges from geometric and decorative pictures with a soft palette of colors to collages made by different materials. The artist chooses to tell us about private episodes that were significant in his life, like his parents divorce or the love story with Gisele, alternating them with such general topics like peace. Technically refined is the representation of the inside of a beehive made with real blades of grass. Particularly meaningful is the choice to compare humanity with bees which are the symbol of a structured society where the common good is put above any personal need.
