Virginia Zaharteva is a writer and psychotherapist. Literary critics labelled her as a brilliant representative of écriture féminine. Her last book, 9 Rabbits, was nominated for the Helikon award in 2008 for the best contemporary Bulgarian fiction and was the best-selling book in 2008.
