First, there is a key. Then comes a lock and a door. Behind the door is a house. I wanted to build an imaginary home as a haven. This shelter had to be entirely contained inside the Moleskine sketchbook as a pocket house to carry with you everywhere. The sketchbook contains a secret hideout with a metal key and a paper leaflet as a map to the house.

Quentin Bidaud is a left-handed illustrator from the north of France. After studying art at ENSAD Paris, he used to draw B&W comic strips for fanzines. Today he works with watercolor, doing paintings for fashion brands or creating imaginary landscapes for himself.
