Lion Maré Djaci, son of two countries, Portugal and Angola, was born and lives in Lisbon. In 2010, he had his first contact with photography, but it was in 2014 that he decided to work full-time on photographing and organizing some personal projects. He has already included some works in the group, and 2017 is the year he started showing some of his work in the group shows. His first exhibition was titled “Só laaa”, a series of 12 images showing the Beauty of Angolan kids.
This notebook is a reflection of the photographer on himself through the exterior world, a raw collection of portraits and landscapes. The portraits tend to evoke the same closeness to the subject, even if it is a friend or a stranger. The landscapes come to break the rhythm of faces, as a breath of fresh air between one portrait and the other.
