“When I received this little Moleskine notebook in Douala, Cameroon, my idea was to image everything that came to my mind and before my eyes, freely, without calculation, like a daily notebook, a diary. With a simple stroke of a pencil or ballpoint pen, I transcribed scenes of life and moments both real and virtual, even surreal, always with the human being in the foreground. On the linked pages of this little Moleskine notebook, my little stories are told differently but in the end, the spontaneous iconographic elements find a certain, surprising iconology. This end result, on the whole, satisfies me”. (Alioum Moussa, November 2011).
