My notebook is dressed in knitwear textures. Each texture is contextualized in a scenary that tells a story that is emphasized by the texture. I used a black wavey knit with a picture of the burning oil fields of Kuwait left behind by iraqui troups after the Gulf War. A fluffy white bubbly texture tells us about the cotton picked by farmers in the south of the World. I dresses my Book even on the outside to give it a funny colorful face that tells about my passion for color, yarn and texture that has been the craft of my life.
