Baby’s sleeping is an attempt to bring back the child’s memory of silence in the cradle’s safety. The echo of silence coming after lullabies and cries, the fight between ideas and material resulting in a tumultuous silence and the sound of an imperceptible oscillation. The mobile is made out of the original notebook’s material, introducing a family tie, a legacy inherited by the new notebook. The words of a partly hidden and vanishing lullaby are dripping in the cradle. The newborn, reconstructed between hazardous cuts and a fragile but thoughtful structure, reflects the construction of a benevolent but clumsy education. Some parts of the original notebook remain here; some are missing, lost during transmission.
